Condiment Capture

Condiment Capture is an in-development title, paying homage to the terrain-painting competitive PvP gameplay and extrapolating that into 3D flight controls. I was brought onto the team for several PvP levels, set in restaurant environs per our environment artist's specifications. I utilized Unity's native Probuilder tool to whitebox these areas; Probuilder allowed me to rapidly prototype structures, objects, and geometry.

I'll highlight a couple of these with a few remarks on the thought process behind each one's design.

Taqueria

This level is a representation of a classic taqueria. I utilized prominent pillars running down the length of the level to divvy up the space and sightlines, forcing players to navigate more obstacles in the process. Taking inspiration from traditional decorations, I incorporated papel picado and inset wall arches to create some unique painting terrain.

Pizzeria

For the Pizzeria, I opted to divide up the establishment with the pizza bar with the curved glass shielding. This feature, alongside the oven and the jukebox, were the standout objects in this level. The big goal here was to take some classic objects found in a pizzeria and bring the room to life with a few of these interesting shapes to paint.
